We posit that the Patipembas of Palo Mayombe and the Veve of Vodoun may be interpreted as types of ‘physics diagrams’ akin to those used by theoretical physicists (Feynman diagrams , Adinkra Symbols ). They chart the space-time tensor configurations that predict a desired outcome in Ifa or a ‘projected particle ’ in theoretical physics.

The Odù Ifá is a key element in the Ifá divination system and consists of 16 major Oju Odù, also called Mẹ́rìndínlógún (Sixteen in Yoruba). They describe a 16 particle based cosmology comparable to the 16 particle chart of the Standard Model.
